We have recently had some very interesting choices placed before us. As many of you know Sean has done very well in law school. He has been at the library for many long nights and when he is not in the library he is hard at work in our study at home. All this work has resulted in him being ranked in the top 5% of his class after the first semester of law school. In the last few months he has started to think about the options that these grades could open up for him. One option that we have been considering is
transferring schools. Having a big name school behind your degree can never hurt and Sean is excited at the opportunity to study in an
atmosphere with great law scholars. He has applied to both Georgetown Law in Washington DC and to Chicago University. We weren't too sure about his chances of actually getting in but thought it may be worth giving it a shot. Well last week we heard back from Georgetown. This picture says it all...
That's right! He got in! We are still waiting to hear back from Chicago and it required a commitment that if he is accepted he will attend. Obviously we are going to wait to make our
decision until we hear back from Chicago but this first
acceptance sure opens up some possibilities for our future. Who knows, this time next year we could be in Chicago or Washington DC. How crazy is that?!
